Hi Nadine!

Information for Educators
bluebar

We fully appreciate the efforts of educators everywhere. Thanks to aggressive teachers at the grade school and college level, orchid seed germination has been brought to schools across the nation.

Please e-mail us directly for information about discounted seeds, supplies, and live protocorms that you can use in the classroom either separately or as an adjunct to tissue culture information.

Orchids can be readily grown from seed using information detailed in our book, Asymbiotic Technique of Orchid Seed Germination. Supplies can be readily purchased from sources such as those listed here. We are currently working on a new manual that is a short version of our current working text; we hope to have this down to 20-30 pages on growing orchids from seed. It should be closer to the student level than our current book.

Contact us for information on how you can inexpensively bring these techniques into the classroom.
